Planting an Empty Palette

The client moved into their home 2 years prior to me designing the borders. They had only put in ferns, and wanted an array of colour instead.

They wanted to plant on the lawn area and to create a feature they could look at from their living room window. What followed was a fun project that found us planting in the heavy rains of autumn.
The photos here show from the beginning of the project in autumn to full bloom this June, which over the summer and into this autumn we will continue to maintain and add to.
